Per LSUSports.net: ATHENS, Ga. – The LSU Tigers increased the intensity throughout the game in an 83-79 win over the Georgia Bulldogs. LSU improves to 21-4 (11-1 in SEC) and Georgia drops to 10-15 (1-11).

Sophomore guard Tremont Waters finished with a game high 20 points, in addition to a game high five assists. Freshman guard Javonte Smart scored 19, a new career-high. Freshman forward Naz Reid put up 13 points, all in the second half, along with six rebounds. Junior guard Marlon Taylor notched eight points and four rebounds.
