LSU junior shooting guard Branden Jenkins from Maywood, IL will be transferring out of the program, according to NOLA.com.
quote:

Jenkins is the second player to transfer out of LSU since Will Wade took over as the head coach joining guard Kieran Hayward.

"I just want to say I appreciate the opportunity given to me by David Patrick and Coach Johnny Jones," Jenkins told The Times-Picayune in a message. "They believed in me and still do so I appreciate it a lot and Coach Wade for supporting me and caring the way he does. He's a great guy."

With a limited amount of scholarships available this year, Coach Wade is merely trimming the fat. And giving these young men plenty of time to catch on with another team. No annomosity, just part of the process.

this is good news. good luck to him. he was underwhelming last year. I realize he was coming off of injury but for a guard, he couldn't throw it in the ocean

Sound like CWW is cleaning house of those who shouldn't be here. Either they won't get on board with CWW's style of coaching or CWW doesn't want them, either way they couldn't help LSU BBall. SO.. Bye!

Or you are completely wrong and neither of those reasons is why he is transferring.
