Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE – The LSU men’s basketball team posted the biggest margin of victory in a contest since 2006 with a 104-52 win over North Florida Friday night at the Pete Marvich Assembly Center in the final game before the Christmas break for the team.

The Tigers defeated Nicholls 96-42 in a 2006 contest.

I don’t remember LSU beating anybody by 50 points in the JJ era! Hopefully we can be competitive once SEC competition begins. Good to see Sampson back!

It took a 42 Point performance by Ben Simmons to overcome a 10-point halftime deficit when they played. Granted North Florida was pretty good that year...... But it took a future NBA All-Star going ham..... Jones didn't coach a lick that game but that was his norm anyway
