Despite losing to Kentucky 71-69 on Tuesday night, LSU put on a outstanding performance in front of an electrifying crowd at the Maravich Center. Paid attendance was at 13,997, and actual attendance was announced at 13,111.

On Wednesday, Coach Johnny Jones sent out a tweet to thank those that were at last night's game:

DEAF DOME

Attendance was announced at 13,111 in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, the largest crowd since the 2008-09 season, when the Tigers sold out four times on the way to their last NCAA tournament appearance. When LSU opened up an early 10-2 lead, forcing Calipari to call timeout, the crowd was howling at an ear-ringing volume and retractable sections of the grandstand were shaking.
Up next, the Tigers have two road games against Tennessee and Texas A&M before retuning home to the PMAC on Saturday February 21 to play Florida.
