LSU basketball coach Matt McMahon landed a big-time commitment on Saturday afternoon from four-star point guard Curtis Givens.

The Memphis native picked the Tigers over Memphis, Texas, Indiana, and Georgia Tech. He is the No. 5 point guard in the country for 2024.

Curtis joins four-star power forward Robert Miller in LSU's 2024 class.

I’d be surprised if this stuck. Go ahead and down vote if you want but family around this one makes me skeptical. Hope I’m wrong, the kid sticks and family stays outta the way.

How do these LSU coaches keep getting top 50 players consistently? We're not a bad program, but certainly not a blue blood.

In basketball one to two players can make all the difference, coaching up Ja and Cam Payne goes a long way on the recruiting trail. Plus he could most likely come in and start right away
