Does he make it to campus?

Probably not!

I spoke to him and his dad at a game last season. Sounded like he was excited to come. Not sure how much his draft stock had changed since then.

Not likely unfortunately. Would be nice though.

Same story, so ‘preaching to the choir’…. We’ve run into a bit of a catch-22: we consistently land top-20 talent, but many of those players opt for the MLB instead of coming to campus. That leaves us thinner on developed depth compared to competitors who retain more of their recruits.

That’s your theory. Just not much truth to it. LSU has always lost talent to the draft but actually less now than in the past. Our roster has multiple first round or high round picks on it.
Did it work this year? Nope. But 2 Natty’s in 3 years I can handle

He goes to a Christian preparatory school and yet his last name is Weinstein? That’s weird as hell.

Catholic HS in Baton Rouge has Jewish kids. And no name is a guarantee of religious affiliation these days.
