Report: Sean Ochinko To Be LSU's Hitting Coach As Micah Gibbs Recovers From Knee Injury

Former LSU player and current undergraduate assistant coach Sean Ochinko is moving over the volunteer/hitting coach role while Micah Gibbs recovers from a serious knee injury that will require surgery, according to Kendall Rogers of D1baseball.com.
Gibbs will remain on staff as he recovers as the director of player development.
Head coach Paul Mainieri said Friday that he cannot comment on potential staff changes but did confirm Gibbs suffered a serious knee injury.
