Mulitple sources are reporting that LSU outfielder Antoine Duplantis will likely miss the summer season with Team USA after suffering a shoulder injury during an exhibition game this on Tuesday.

The injury happened when Duplantis hit the left field wall hard after chasing down a fly ball.

Coach Paul Mainieri, who is serving as the manager for Team USA said that Duplantis' AC joint in his shoulder is likely separated and will need 3-4 weeks to recover. Per NOLA.com:

LSU coach Paul Mainieri told Baseball America's Chris Trenkle that Duplantis' AC joint in his shoulder is likely separated. He said it should take three-to-four weeks to heal, and Duplantis is probably done with Team USA this summer.

Mainieri is serving as manager of the Collegiate National Team. He said Duplantis should be fine for next season.
