Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE, La. -- Jared Poche' tossed eight more innings of no-hit baseball before finally surrendering his first hit of the season in the ninth inning, and the Tigers’ poured it on at the plate as well, defeating Maryland 14-0.

The Tigers improved to 6-1, while Maryland fell to 1-3 with the loss.

I can't ever remember a pitcher at any level starting a season with 15 consecutive hitless innings over 2 games. Very impressive. I really hope he sets the LSU career wins record, as he has been the model of consistency for 4 years now. Keep it going Bulldog!
