LSU's Tommy White Named SEC Co-Player Of The Week

LSU third baseman Tommy White was named SEC Co-Player Of The Week on Monday for his play in the series sweep over Ole Miss this past weekend.

He shared the honor with Florida's Luke Heyman.

LSU’s Tommy White led the Tigers to an SEC series sweep of Ole Miss, batting .615 (8-for-15) in three games with two doubles, one triple, three homers and seven RBI. He was 3-for-4 on Thursday with one RBI, one run and the first triple of his collegiate career. White was also 3-for-4 on Friday with one homer, one RBI and two runs, and he culminated the weekend in Saturday’s win with two home runs – including a grand slam – and five RBI.
