Was he on full scholly? Baseball doesn't have many scholarships to spread around. Anyway, that's a decision that's tough as hell. Good luck with whatever venture you decide on for what hopefully is a long and happy career.

We were over the maximum spots on the roster, so someone had to go. If there are better/healthier players available, that’s the way things work in the real world. He’s gotten a good portion of his education for free, which is a huge plus for him and the most important benefit he will have received from LSU.
