Per LSUSports.net: METAIRIE, La. – Third-ranked LSU defeated Louisiana-Lafayette, 8-6, Tuesday night in the annual Wally Pontiff Jr. Classic at Zephyr Field. The game was played before a crowd of 10,853 in the home of the New Orleans Zephyrs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.

Shortstop Alex Bregman went 3-for-3 on the day with a home run, triple and double. First baseman Chris Chinea and designated hitter Kade Scivicque also launched home runs for the Tigers.

ULL didn't score in the first inning. I'm assuming you're talking about the 2nd inning. All runs scored that inning were earned since no error or passed ball occurred.

Why was ULL credited with earned runs in the 1st? Both of those guys runs were walked in. and One of the guys who scored got on base on a walk.
