LSU announced Tuesday night that senior second baseman Jared Foster has been reinstated to the team.

Foster was ruled ineligible last week before the start of the Missouri series, but appealed his ineligibly this week and won. Per LSUSports.net:

BATON ROUGE, La. – Senior second baseman Jared Foster is eligible to continue to play for the LSU baseball team, effective immediately. Foster will travel with the team to Columbia, S.C., on Wednesday for its series at South Carolina.

Coach Paul Maineri talked about getting Foster back on the team after LSU's victory over UNO on Tuesday.

Great news for Foster with his academic status and the team going forward. These kids don't get enough credit having to work on and off the field and staying compliant with academics and ALL the NCAA rules. Best of luck this week at SCAR, SEC Tourney & Post Season....
