LSU Forces Rematch vs. Oregon State After 9-5 Win Over Northwestern State

Per LSUSports.net: CORVALLIS, Ore.- After trailing Northwestern Staet entering the final frame, the LSU baseball team rallied for five runs in the top of the ninth inning, started by a leadoff walk from Antoine Duplantis and highlighted by a two-run double from freshman Hal Hughes, to stave off elimination in the Corvallis Regional Sunday afternoon in Goss Stadium.
LSU will square off against Oregon State at 8 p.m. CT Saturday. The Tigers must defeat the Beavers twice to advance from the NCAA Regional.
