Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE—With the score tied at 5-5 in the bottom of the eighth and freshman Giovanni DiGiacomo on third, catcher Brock Mathis dropped a single into left field to propel the No. 1 LSU baseball team to a 6-5 win against Southeastern Louisiana Tuesday night in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

With the win, LSU improves to 4-0 on the season while Southeastern drops to 0-4.
