Keeping it real is you walk 6 big league batters and you're giving up runs and out of the game before the eighth! Just ask Ranaudo, Coleman, Gausman, etc. It's a harsh game up there! Aaron Nola excells because he doesn't walk batters, throws strikes to get ahead in the count. That's reality!

I knew the downvoters would come out. All I'm saying is that as good as Lange is, he walks way too many batters. He can get away with it in college. Not in the pros. As a lifelong Tiger fan, I want to see these young men go on to successful careers and represent LSU at the highest level. Not a criticism of Lange. Just a fact! And I'm sure he would be the first to tell you his number of walks is not acceptable to him and certainly will cost the team if not corrected. Cold hard facts, people!

I bet you won't find a major league team manager who would not take 10 Strikeouts vs 6 walks giving up on 3 hits in 8 innings. Besides , looking at his past starts in the Regional and in the SEC tourney that was not the case as in the early part of the year . So please keep it real.

Great comeback Tigers! Not being negative, but Please stop walking batters at an alarming rate. That's usually the difference in winning it all or not. I know Lange is working on it. He has to eliminate this from his game in order to succeed at the next level. Hess is becoming a dominant closer! Geaux Tigers!

Tell ya what . If Poche goes 72/3 innings strikes out 8 , gives up 1 hit in the first, 2 hits in the 7th, retires 19 of 21 at a stretch in the game ands walks 6, Manieri and Dunn will be dancing in the dugout . Especially if the Tiger bats start working as we all know they will. Keep in mind these are young men 1to 3 years only from high school where the talent level is on a different planet than in the SEC. Look for the positives . They will figure out the rest
