An LSU team spokesperson said that senior left-handed pitcher Jared Poche' will start LSU's Regional opener against Texas Southern on Friday.

The Tigers will face Texas Southern (20-32) at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2nd. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.

I hope starting Poche against a team the backups could beat by 10+ doesn't come back to haunt us.

Could have easily pulled him after three or so innings in the SEC tournament so save him as back-up for the title game, but yeah, the wins thing is the reason. Good Luck Jared.
