The Louisville Metro police chief who oversaw the department’s mishandling of golf star Scottie Scheffler's arrest resigned Tuesday, Mayor Craig Greenberg announced, according to the Associated Press...

Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel resigned due to the mishandling of a sexual harassment claim about an officer, per the report, becoming the third Louisville police chief to be fired or resign since 2020.

The Louisville police department came under fire in May after charges against Scheffler, the world’s top-ranked golfer, were dropped following his highly publicized arrest.

Someone needs to start a real cop school and teach cops what their true jobs are...in AMERICA.

Lesson 1: those you police also pay your salaries. No, I ain't gettin on the ground cause you say I didn't use my blinker!
Lesson 2: NO VICTIM, NO CRIME.

While true, this has nothing to do with Scottie, LMPD is a terribly corrupt department in general. The city of Louisville is poison in general when it comes to how it's ran. The Governor needs to take it over.

They didn't come under fire for dropping the charges, they came under fire for the charges being filed to begin with. Shitty journalism getting it 180 degrees wrong.
