While on the SEC Network’s Thinking Out Loud with Marcus Spears this, Greg McElroy predicted when Georgia will win a National Championship...
quote:

“It might be this year,” McElroy said about Georgia’s title chances. “I really like what Georgia brings back this year. I think next year is their year. So if I were to tell you the year they were going to win the national championship, I’d say 2020. Fromm will be a senior, they will still have one of the best offensive lines in college football and I feel like that defensive playmaker along the front four will maybe have grown into himself at that point. That’s still a position that I’m still a little questionable on as far as their contention this upcoming season.”

“It might be this year” that a preseason top-5 team wins the NC? Damn, we’ve got a regular Nostradamus on our hands.

Georgia--next year's national champs for nearly 40 years.

2020? Fromm, Swift, and half of the o line are leaving early.

He conveniently left out that Bama potentially loses its offensive production and some key components on D this year across the board and is in for a major rebuild.

Plus, their schedule isn't nearly as favorable as it has been the last couple of years.

So, yes. UGA has a shot. As do others.

Yeah I’ll take a wait and see approach on the team that just hired fricking James Coley as their OC. There’s more to college football than recruiting. You know, like coaching.

Fromm is being projected as a top 10 pick in next year’s draft so unless JF decides to turn down millions like Justin Hebert at Oregon did then it’s pretty much this year or bust for Georgia

Fromm and Swift are both gone after this year. I'm sure their replacements will be pretty good, but I don't see it.

And you know this, how?

"And you know this, how?"

Fromm is going 1st round, Swift probably 2nd. To answer your question, I pay attention.

You pay attention to the unmade decisions of young men? Cool, man.
