This is what happens when you live in such a prosperous country. Modern white people yearn for death-defying feats because the fear of death is too far removed from their culture (apart from cancer, heart disease, COPD, and heart disease). Some people need to insert thrill and fear into their life in order to feel reinvigorated. I'm willing to bet people in the Middle East don't try any of this shite.
