Report: Florida Losing Defensive Back To The Transfer Portal
by Staff Reporter
April 10, 20251 Comments

Matt Pendleton/Gainesville Sun / USA TODAY NETWORK
Florida defensive back Gregory Smith is reportedly entering the transfer portal after one season in Gainesville.
Smith's roster page for the Gators website has been removed.
The former four-star recruit from Sebring, Fla., played in three games during his freshman season last year, totaling five tackles and one pass breakup.
Only playing in three games allowed him to preserve his redshirt, giving him four years of eligibility at his next school.
