Former Alabama wide receiver Javon Baker announced this week that he has committed to UCF.

Baker entered the transfer portal this offseason and was headed to Kentucky but will play for coach Gus Malzahn and the Knights moving forward.

The former four-star recruit from Atlanta, Ga. recorded seven catches for 101 yards and a touchdown in 12 games for Alabam last season.

He was committed to Kentucky. No clue what changed but apparently even Baker was shocked to find out he wasn't going to be playing at Kentucky when it was announced last week. Not sure if it was an eligibility or a "program fit" problem.
