re: Price of Logs - Palo Gaucho
Call a couple of the closest hardwood sawmills and ask if they can recommend a small logger/tree company. I see little crews, usually Mexicans, hauling small loads on flatbed trailers into mills occasionally. You probably won't make much, if anything, but they'll take them off of your hands and ho...

re: Buying a new boat or restoring an older model? - Palo Gaucho
I recently priced new motors. The best price I found for a Mercury Pro XS 200 was $13k. Yamaha SHO was several thousand more. If it were me, I wouldn't sink that kind of money into an older boat. re: Boat Upholstery - Palo Gaucho
Depending on how bad they are, you may just want to look into replacing them. I was told by a guy in my club that it was cheaper for him to replace his seats with seats from bassboatseats.com than it would have been to repair them. ...

re: Why does the US cling to a two-party system? - Palo Gaucho
The right moves farther right as a result of the left constantly moving the goal posts. Conservative people don't have substantially different views than they did a few decades ago. The same can't be said about the left. :usa:...

re: Most entertaining thing you have witnessed on the water? - Palo Gaucho
Yuppie with a couple of jet skis taking up both sides of a double ramp, then locks his keys in his car, all at noon, on a Saturday on the 4th of July at Ford Park on Cross Lake. It was the biggest clusterfrick I've ever seen at a boat launch. That guy caught all kind of shite. ...
