re: Belize Offshore Trip (trolling) - MSWebfoot
Lsucouyon went a few weeks ago. Not sure who with or how they fished, but they caught. They had enough to feed their group (6) for 2 days and gave a bunch to the mates and locals. Good times for sure. Good luck, post pics!...

re: New Truck Advice - MSWebfoot
I only tow my 4 wheeler and it does way better that the taco did. Towed 1/2 yard of sand and 400 lbs of stone and it was fine. DL, it has been a while. The drive train in the older Tacos is the same. Taco changed motor and tranny in '16. I am not sure about the older Tacos, but the 4Runner is way...

re: New Truck Advice - MSWebfoot
I just got rid of my '16 Tacoma. WAY too small with kids. The 3 boys a blind bag and a couple of bb guns and the cab was packed. I had 13k miles and the cab had rattles all over the interior. The 3.4 isn't horrible, but the 6 speed tranny is. It over shifted and shifted constantly. There are 2 reca...

re: Any Toyota 4Runner Owners here? - MSWebfoot
I just traded my 16 Tacoma for a 16 4Runner. The 4Runner is 10 times what the Tacoma was. It rides way better, quiter, more space, and easier on long drives. I am getting almost 21mpg in my 4x4 SR5. The only complaint so far is that I got the lower level entune radio. No nav or apps. I can't control...

re: Moving to New Orleans - MSWebfoot
My brother moved down last summer. He is a few blocks from the Rouses on Tchoupitalas. He has had zero issues there. Visited this weekend. No problems anywhere we went. Lots of little bars and restaraunts thoughout the neighbohood, so he walks alot. Not where I want to live though. Have to park on ...

re: Have you ever known anyone that stinks on a perpetual basis? - MSWebfoot
There was a guy in the Navy at A-school that was horrible. He was so bad, they moved his roommate out, and emptied the rooms on either side of him. He had to report every morning before and after his shower, and prove he was washing his clothes. It didn't really help. His last name was actually Butz...

re: What to do about my vehicle situation? - MSWebfoot
I was in a similar situation last fall. I went with a ne Tacoma. I got an SR, 4x4, V6, doulde cab. I am getting right at 22-23mpg on my daily 60 mile round trip commute. I wish it had more interior storage, and the 6 speed behaved more like a 5 speed, but I am pretty happy with it. ...

re: Cool WW2 stories - MSWebfoot
My old neighbor was in his 90's. I knew he had served during WW II, but all he ever said was that he was a mail man. He passed away at 95, and his wife told me the real story. He was in the 388th Bomber Group and flew 6 missions on B-17's. 4 as a radioman, then switched crews and became a waist g...

Not sure about bulbs, probably sylvania, but here are the headlight housings for about half price. I have ordered from them before, they are quick and parts were a perfect fit. [link=(https://www.1aauto.com/2006-chevy-silverado-1500-headlight-assemblies/y-mo-c/2006-1716-19)]A1 Auto[/link]...

re: Chumming with live shrimp - MSWebfoot
Last time I fished with Jack, he did chum, but it was with a handful of dead shrimp. He crushed them under his foot, and tossed the mess in. He did it when the fish slowed down. They did seem to react to it and get going again. Ended up sitting in one spot for 125 trout. It seemed to work. Chumming...
