Who all got to do a little killing this Labor Day? We got to get in on some early goose hunting. Me and a buddy had a great time and came up just shy of a limit for us. Had a blast though and ebven got to see a big group of mallards lock up and land in our face in a dry field. We don't get to see that much in Alabama. I'd still like to get my hands around the throat of the asshat who dropped a duck in the next field over from us though. It was a shame some idiot had to pull that stunt when there was plenty of geese flying. Lets see some pics fellas.....

Scouted for geese yesterday and did not see a single bird so I slept in. I did kill this though while scouting.

Why the confusion?
MS had an early canada goose season that opened today as well.

Had father-in-law in town and took him to Precision. He killed 100 rds 9mm and I killed 200 rounds 9mm and 50 rounds .38. It was an expensive day but I had never shot with him. We had a blast.

I might should have made sure to note that I'm in Alabama. Our early goose season opened today. Y'all thought "look at this out of season sumbuck"

that's exactly what they thought...until I moved out of LA, I had no idea that waterfowl seasons opened early anywhere else in the south...

2 of us managed 16 doves this evening. Not bad for an east Texas cutover hunt
