Literally, one of the best CSB
I have quite a few. Worked on Console as a Payload Rack Officer from 2002-2015 and the original EXPRESS Logistics Carrier (ELC) Ops Lead.
Over 10,000 hours on console with close to 50K commands sent to ISS.
Loved that job. When the fit hit th...

Barry is from Murfeesboro,Tennessee and is actually a pretty good person. He doesn't have that "I'm an astronaut, you're nothing persona". My Flight Director award has me standing 2 people down from Barry since he was on that crew for STS-129. My plaque is actually signed by the entire crew, includ...

Hey Joe...got a secret for you too....HE'S UNION!
That's right little demoncrats...your union stronghold isn't so strong now. Lots of UAW workers will defect and vote for Trump. Biden is hurting their bottom line...the union leadership will still support Biden, but not the rank and file....

I got eat at the City Club for one of the Lawton's granddaughter's weddings...damn good food back in the 90s.
Worked in there for Serv Tech Engineers in 1995/1996. First job in the instrumentation design world.
On one hand..sad to see it go...but on another, it is an eyesore.
They should...

So let me understand this...a dude got beat up by a woman for going into a woman's bathroom and Oregon says he was right?
WTF Oregon? Oh well...more Left Coast high jinks and another reason not to go to Oregon....
re: Homeowners Insurance
Posted by NASA_ISS_Tiger on 3/7/24 at 2:04 pm
USAA has steadily went up each year. Every year we've owned our house since 2014 we've been behind on escrow because they raise their rates. Our homeowners policy timeframe and mortgage company escrow timeframe is off by 4 months. Escrow goes by Jan-Dec. USAA renews every April. So as a result ...

I'm in the same situation but with Milwaukee. I was actually looking at theirs but they have some bad reports about leaking. I'm on the fence about theirs. But I'm actually hoping some of those reports are "1 offs" beca...

That's exactly why I'm asking folks here. I get ideas here and then also go look at consumer reports and other places. ...
Let's talk sprayers...backpack or carry
Posted by NASA_ISS_Tiger on 2/21/24 at 10:56 am
What are most folks using these days for suburban lawns? I'm currently using a 2 gallon carry but after doing my front yard pre-emergent program a few days ago I've decided to upgrade. I don't have much of a yard just under a .5 acre total lot size minus the house so however much that is.
Def...

My Netgear R6900P isn't cutting it anymore. Always having to power cycle it weekly if not more than that. I'm needing something with multiple frequencies for WiFi as well as a way I can set up a "Guest" network separate from the main usage. I would need some kind of parental controls on the Guest ...
Well, there’s two ways to do it. If the main gun ia over the back deck at the right angle, you can enter the driver’s compartment from the turret.
Yeah I knew about this one as well, I just never got to see it IRL. I was assigned to the Bradley unit so I never spent much time on t...

Invite them in. Have a party. Fatten them up. Make a roux. Once drunk, wring their necks and clean. Put in gumbo. Enjoy your company with the squirrels. It's really that simple....

So wait you're saying because the official didn't use preventative officiating in the championship game he was on a power trip?
Dude...after 15 years of officiating AHSAA and LHSAA football, let me educate you. No official is going to give warnings when you are that deep in a season. First few ...
