re: Would you want to meet Putin? - NASA_ISS_Tiger
He ran his entire campaign blaming Bush for anything and everything. Did you really think he would stop that trend once elected
He's a democrat, right? No I didn't expect anything from him. He has to blame someone. He's unaccountable....

re: Would you want to meet Putin? - NASA_ISS_Tiger
I would. I think the man is very intelligent and has very strict morals (you may or may not agree with his morals, but he has them). He stands up for what he believes in (might not be what you believe in, but that's not his fault). I believe he is a real leader. You have to look at the man wit...

re: Professional Engineer question (Civil Specifically) - NASA_ISS_Tiger
I have no clue since the government sector could care less about PEs. The only way to make money here is to jump contracts...15% at a time. Then stick around for the 2-3 annual raises..then jump again....

re: Golf Cart, Underwater for 24 hours, is it Salvaglebale - NASA_ISS_Tiger
When you say "rewired" do you also mean the heavy gauge cables to the batteries? If not, please reconsider...if those cables were underwater for any length of time they'll corrode..and eventually cause the batteries to fail to deliver rated voltage to the motor...creating a strain on the batteries ...

re: 23andMe.com DNA testing - NASA_ISS_Tiger
Has anyone ever done it? What was your experience like? Is it accurate?
I've thought about it...but why would allow a company to have my DNA profile on file somewhere where someone can get it without a warrant. Yeah I know: :blackheli: :blackheli: ...

re: Best grease for old door lock mechanism - NASA_ISS_Tiger
Never used the stuff personally...but I've heard good stuff about Tri Flow lubricants from a locksmith at work who does all the desk drawers/filing cabinets/doors at NASA. [link=(http://www.triflowlubricants.com/index)]LINK[/link] He also stays away from graphite due to the humidity clumping i...

re: Should HS football teams be allowed to practice in 100 degree heat? - NASA_ISS_Tiger
As an official, I would rather the kids be conditioned properly than getting injured on the field in a game on Friday night. Yeah, I practiced for 2-a-days. Morning and afternoon. Basically collapsed at home during the middle of the day but I know in my heart it helped me to have better stamina l...

re: Salmon Based Dog Food - NASA_ISS_Tiger
I have heard conflicting reports about Beneful. I've heard it can cause dogs to have elevated glucose levels. I stay away from the stuff. Anyone know anything about the Blue Buffalo versions? Our late lab-mix had skin allergies and we put her on Natural Balance Duck n Potato...she loved it....

re: How to Get Rid of Chimney Sweeps? - NASA_ISS_Tiger
My chimney is protected by a spark arrestor so no chimney swifts. Barn swallows on the other hand are a pain in the ass. They build mud nests on top of the columns on the front porch. Some people put pool noodles cut up..on top of the area to block them. Damn birds move the noodles. Crafty bitch...

re: Anyone here gone back for an Executive MBA? - NASA_ISS_Tiger
OT a little bit...what happens if you don't have the 3.0 minimum GPA to get into the EMBA program? Any sort of waiver or probationary period available. Don't judge...I worked my arse off for my BSEE and I worked 40 hours a week for HiLo Auto parts during college....

re: Day of Snook Fishing........Stuart Florida - NASA_ISS_Tiger
I'm totally in the dark about snook. I see them caught on sport fishing shows, but that's it. Can you keep them? Are they edible? If edible, how are they for table fare? What kinds of limits are there on snook? Also, bonefish...why are they named bonefish....are they edible?...

re: Truck idles rough, need a Ford guy - NASA_ISS_Tiger
I've had 3 COPs go bad in my 2000 F150 5.4L. All 3 times she went into Limp Home mode. Never had the IAC code pop. Truck's been parked for a long time now..trying to get the time to get it all fixed on her. Probably the last gas burner I own. ...
