Just started eating this stuff and it isn't bad. I bought the jumbo bag of quinoa and kale from costco. It's flavored with a little garlic and comes in two cup servings per pouch. The best thing is you just microwave it in the bag for four minutes and it's ready.

Add canned tuna and hot sauce and that's a Damn healthy meal.

Anyone else have any other quinoa ideas/recipes?

I haven't eaten it in a while, but I used broth to cook it instead of water. Made the flavor a little less rustic.

I tried to get into it a while back and it just never stuck. It's somewhat annoying to work with, and I just never could get a whole lot of flavor into it. Although I tried many different ways of imparting flavor outside of just adding sriracha and calling it "delicious."

Prefer lentils.

Love quinoa.....Usually buy in bulk from Whole Foods think it's like $5.99/lb and they have 4 different kinds here in Orlando. Have also discovered hulled barley and farro....Does take more than 4 minutes though!

The quinoa I buy takes about 20 minutes to cook.....You need to rinse it though before. I have saute the trinity, add a bunch of garlic and use some stock of some sort. I also use the barley and farro to make a risotto too.

I love quinoa. I usually cook it in chicken broth, then throw in a few healthy handfuls of spinach and whatever other veggies I have on hand. I eat that a couple times a week.

I usually make a batch of quinoa on Mondays to eat on for the week. U can do all kinds of things with it. The last batch I made I sautéed some chicken sausage, zucchini, squash, spinach and peppers then tossed in some cooked quinoa. Tossed that with a bit of tahini and sriracha.
