Actually dairy is one of the worst things to ingest if you suffer from autoimmune, especially in the case of AS or Crohn's. A lot of these diseases are triggered by dairy allergies/casein. There is a genetic component to an autoimmune condition like AS for sure, but as a good doctor once told me ...
