re: Is BR traffic really that bad? - burgeman
The whole Highland/burbank corridor is a mess. There should be a way to get from Highland to Burbank other than a couple major arteries. ...

Anyone ever been to Missoula, Montana? - burgeman
Thinking about taking a vacation up there in the fall, in my little bit of research it looks like a decent city with 4 breweries. Just wondering where would be a good place to stay or visit if I venture up there....

re: Is BR traffic really that bad? - burgeman
Probably because you live there and surface streets can get you anywhere without using the interstate. Eastbound on I10 out of the CBD used to be terrible, and don't let there be a stopped vehicle on the spillway....

Just get off at Nicholson, take Government to Acadian and back on the interstate to avoid most of that. The Nicholson lane is usually open with everyone trying to stay on the interstate. Or take one o...

re: Is BR traffic really that bad? - burgeman
I drive in from Hammond around 500 every morning and leave around 4 every afternoon from Government St. I am usually home in 45 minutes every day, sometimes it is an hour but that includes a stop in Livingston everyday for about 5 minutes. It used to take me an hour and a 15 minutes to an hour and 3...

Is BR traffic really that bad? - burgeman
Other than the occasional wreck on the bridge, is it really that bad? I have worked in BR and New Orleans, I would take BR traffic any day over New Orleans. Now New Orleans does win on surface street traffic, which BR is terrible with....
