Unfortunately, he'll ride the coattails of the very popular Stabenow to a win in November.

Poll is obviously biased towards the GOP.

EPIC co-founder John Cavanagh said the softening in support for Obama is likely related to a robust TV advertising campaign by pro-Romney PACs which have been critical of his handling of the economy. Perhaps most troubling for the Democratic president is a decline in support from independent voters, Cavanagh said.
And it will be a lot worse by November.

Do the polls reported by realclearpolitics have any credibility? They have Obama with a sound lead over Mittens in Michigan, along with him having small leads in Ohio and Florida.

The October jobs report and the October unemployment rate both come out on Friday, November 2nd, just four days before the election. If the numbers are bad, they will be buried, downplayed and/or ignored as much as possible by the MSM. If the numbers are good, you hear will hear NOTHING ELSE from Friday through the time the last polls close on Tuesday. In a close race, these numbers will carry more weight than any words uttered by either campaign. The jobs report is subject to revision. The unemployment rate is not. But keep in mind that both numbers are derived from answers to POLLS, not factual information. In 2008, Election Day came before the October reports were released. The calendar may decide this election in a close race.

Unity, Hope & Change You Can Believe In not very credible in a state with a 8.5% unemployment rate and thousands of unemployed not included in that rate who have given up and dropped out of the workforce.

to think that I was laughed at even mentioning Mich was in play ... Other bold predictions: Mass and Pennsylvania to go Romney

We're reaching the tipping point. As more and more people see that saying no to Barry doesn't equate to your being a racist the game will be over.

Are you serious? The coattail efect for a sitting president from lower down the ticket would be more than unusual.

Which is not good. Romney needs to be leading there. This is traditionally a state that the republicans could count on but apparently the demographics are changing in the favor of the dems. For Romney to win he needs to wind Va, and Co. He's tied or losing in both states now. He needs to make every effort he can to win those. There are a lot of states that he will have to concede equaling at least 217 electoral votes. Obama only needs to pick up a few of the toss ups to win. BTW, Romney's not going to win Michigan. We just need to get over that fantasy right now.
