re: Jan 9, 2017 - Motorcade on 95N in Virginia between Richmond and DC - chimesstreet
Thanks for the info. After searching the schedules/locations of President Obama, President elect Trump, the First Lady, VP Biden, VP elect Pence, Senator Kaine, and Gov McAuliffe...my curiosity was really piqued. Had no idea it was National Law Enforcement Day....

Jan 9, 2017 - Motorcade on 95N in Virginia between Richmond and DC - chimesstreet
Anyone know to whom this motorcade belongs? I've been stuck behind a four bus motorcade with 10+ police car escort. On-ramps are blocked. It has been at least 60 miles. Can't find any info on 511/waze/etc. Google maps just shows an 8 minute backup in it's wake. Thoughts? ...
No way in hell that is balanced. I can't believe you said that. I would mind it though.
It looks balanced to me. In the East - Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt are, shall we say "less successful" teams, and in the West - Miss St, Mizzou, Arkansas, and Ole Miss...

re: Gameday & LSU Salutes will be on the Parade Ground- UPDATE - chimesstreet
Why is such a somber ceremony scheduled on the (easily known) LSU-Alabama game date?
From olewarskule.com - "By resolution of the LSU Board of Supervisors in March of 1998, LSU Salutes was established as an official University observance. When I was in BC for an LSU game, I drove down to Seattle to watch with the alumni group there. Drive wasn't too bad, and they are a great group. I had a hard time finding a place with college ball in Burnaby. ...
The problem is LSU does not give a shite about you while you are a student but the moment you graduate they finally care.
I certainly didn't experience this at LSU. re: Songs to play during FLA game - chimesstreet
Not sure how I feel about all of the hurricane references. We certainly didn't like the "Finish what Katrina signs" from Alabama. I realize it is different since the game could have easily been moved, and Matthew was certainly not Katrina. But people did die. All that being said, play Smack ...

Central Standard Time? Daylight Savings Time doesn't end until November. Is there some section of Louisiana that doesn't observe Daylight Time? Or does Matt Moscona just not know how to tell time, and doesn't realize that we are currently in CDT?...

Correct me if I am wrong, but an Ole Miss loss just shifts control from Ole Miss to Alabama. An Ole Miss loss helps Alabama? We have to beat Ole Miss either way. ...

How to Donate to Flood Victims in South Carolina - chimesstreet
Yes, playing their music and/or repainting the field would be nice, but how about the members of Tiger Nation do something more for those who have lost everything? I know ten years ago many of us were recipients of similar support. So here is a link to flood relief charities in SC. [link=(htt...
