I eat at least 3 out of every batch to figure out when to quit soaking them. I eat more sausage and corn than anything else.

I had a bunch of friends and family over for crawfish boil. My treat. I was boiling 4 sacks. I gotta buddy who show's up and proceedes to tell me how I'm doing everything wrong.
So I ask him how he does it. He responds that he's never boiled crawfish on his own before but he's seen it done plenty times.
I had to take a break and drink another beer to avoid physical violence.
