I use an 80 at my house, it's good for a sack and I always boil corn, potatoes, etc separate.

Yeah, I never boil pots and crawfish together. Well, I don't actually "boil" crawfish at all anymore. I steam em and soak em, but I never boiled em together anyway.

60 or 100, but never 80. I own two 80s. The problem is the basket. Unless you find a maker different than the two I have, you'll have a 60 gallon basket in the 80 pot. I HATE that.

How do you keep them warm? Do you boil them in seperate pots or do you boil them first and dip them in the hot water after the crawfish is done?

Not sure, but they are different. One was from Sam's. We looked at a specialty store and they wanted more for one basket than we paid for both pots combined. I need to look at Academy. Thanks.

This is very true. I have one of thos "Boiling Nets" or whatever they are called. I put my potatoes and onions to boil first then just add the crawfish a few minutes later. This way when the crawfish are finished boiling, everything comes out at once. I just find it easier if i have only one pot to worry about. As the old saying goes "There is more than one way to skin a cat". The end result is what counts.
