We don't. Takes forever. Comes out fine.
So you wait and wait and wait for it to actually come back to boil?

Yea. Burns the hell out of some propane. Have a new burner sitting around that'll do the job better but need to weld up a stand for it. We don't boil often enough to worry about it though.

I do. I dont start timing until the water comes back to a boil...then I wait 3 minutes then turn them off

I have boiled about 1000 pounds in the past two weeks and have eaten a grand total of 2 crawfish. And I love em. Probably boil again this weekend.

If yours isnt boiling it again, stick a thermometer in it next time. I bet its close enough to call it boiling.

Thats the only time I will pay to swap em at the quicky mart/grocery store is when they are out of date. Problem solved.

How about the people that eat and run and don't even offer to help clean up. I know that I am completely worn out after putting on a large boil and the people who help out afterwards are the ones who get invites to come back.

Get you a natural gas burner. You will never have to worry about running out.

When I boil I put worcestershire, mustard, liquid crab boil, LA hot sauce, and a homemade seasoning my dad gets from some local around here.

I'm pretty lucky with that. Whether it be friends or family, I usually don't have to lift a finger after.

My dad will end up going with this setup, he's just about done his little patio/garage extension area and has a natural gas line with a quick connect run into the wall just for that purpose.

So they insist on boiling them, and clean up?

Sounds like you just invite a bunch of people over for a crawfish boil, they boil them and clean up while you drink beer and eat crawfish. I like it.
