No offense but you are starting to cast a shadow over the reputation of SMU grads/fans.

Wear them all the time when it's warm and I'm not at work or something that requires dress clothes. If it doesn't help me with the ladies, I will have to just unfortunately stick it out with my wife and kid.

I alternate my three pair with dress crocs thoughtI admit I sometimes wear my regular crocs if I'm just running errands.

Cargos and jorts are all I have. And I don't care. I wear what I wear.

A 1 second old baby is too old for cargo shorts

The only time I will ever think about wearing cargos if I'm working in the yard and I'll just wear jeans then. They just look like shite imo.

So you would rather wear jeans than shorts when working in your yard?

who is that, he looks like shite

i plan on stopping wearing cargo shorts like the day i die. I have every shade of camo cargos known to mankind. I don't even have a lot of shite to carry. I have a skinny phone and a set of keys. frick you. Usually i even put my keys in my belt loop, not my pockets. It takes a certain type of man to be able to rock a cpt america t shirt with a set of camo cargs

I guess "grown" is to wear pleated polo shorts 5" above the knee with boat shoes, a tucked in polo shirt with a set of costas hanging from your neck?
If that's grown, I'll never grow up...

Why would you wear a giant pair of shorts that covers your knees and weigh ten pounds? They are called shorts for a reason.
Posted on 4/15/15 at 9:54 am to RedElephants
or you could wear regular shorts with whatever shoes and sunglasses you wanted

Based on these pics, and these pics alone, who do you hire for a job? I'm aware that it's stupid to make a hiring decision purely based on this, but if it's all you had to go on, who looks more professional and responsible?
I personally think cargo shorts look childish. So I'm not going to give off that first impression. But I can also see the hate for those who try just a little too hard with their chubby's short shorts, with all the designs on them.

Anyone that cares that much about what other people wear or care that much about what other people think about what they wear is either a douchebag or a Frat boy.
Who cares, wear what you want.

Anything over a six or seven inch inseam looks tacky in my opinion.
