re: Anyone flounder gig from their kayak? - TigerWise
Cool, my gigging spots are a bit different and I can cover much more ground by foot. Ive noticed that if I shine the light above water it can spook bait fish which in turn can spook the flounder. I also have a shorter gig with a stringer on it that I drag behind me. Good Luck ...

re: Anyone flounder gig from their kayak? - TigerWise
Care to elaborate?
I stab a lot of flounder in ankle deep water. Like others have mentions it's not going to be easy to pole/paddle and gig in the other. It will be a pain in the ass. I own a Jackson kayak and I can stand up in it but founder out of it hasn't even crossed my...

re: Anyone flounder gig from their kayak? - TigerWise
I gig a lot and doing it out of a kayak is pointless. Now using your kayak to get to the flounder spot is a different story. I own kayaks FWIW...

re: Napoleon down to 2 lanes? This is nuts - TigerWise
I live near the construction and can honestly say that I have never been in what I would call bad traffic on Napoleon during the whole construction project. I see no need for two lanes..
I've had issues during the school year, but that could be because it's backing up from Claiborn...

re: The Gentrification of New Orleans - TigerWise
I started to see white females walking along St Claude.
These gentrifiers have a false sense of security. On my ride home from work I routinely see white women walking down Eathart past Claiborne taking on their phone with handbag in tote. New Orleans is getting better but these wo...
They won't be open at 6:00am this Saturday.
No but me, you, and are friendly lawyer might be able to change that. They really should open earlier IMO. When it's not football season they lose my business because they open so late. I guess that late night crowd drinks more...
