Charlotte. It is giving me huge Denver before it went big vibes. Lots of room for expansion, and a lot of people already there.

It is currently one of America's great cities, but the middle and upper middle class (not doctors, but step below... the people making like 90-140 a year) are priced out.

I was going to say Cedar Falls

I have a child that lives between Columbus and Akron. Very small town Midwest living.

Grand Rapids - yes.
The other two, while cool to visit...

I found the weather in Akron pretty depressing in the winter. The cold or snow didn't bother me but sometimes I'd leave SLA and not see the sun again until I got back. Some of those small towns are quaint though.

Cities that have been gaining in popularity in recent years(no particular order):
1. Charleston, SC (land & water restrict growth)
2. Charlotte, NC
3. Raleigh, NC
4. Nashville, TN
5. Boise, ID
6. Austin, TX
I hear lots of people wanting to move to Montana. Hope they have good winter jackets. I’m trying to get out of the city. Too many people, too much crime, too much traffic & too much concrete for me. I’m finding myself yearning for more outdoors & less hustle and bustle. I want 4 seasons, as well. Louisiana has its merits, but I’m ready for change

You're late to the party. Raleigh is peaking.

Same. I'll never live in a city again after the youngest finishes HS.

I’m surprised no one has said Huntsville. It’s exploding. Auto manufacturing, tech, federal agencies, military, and NASA pumping money into the area. Nice recreation opportunities on the Tennessee river. It’s going to absorb Athens and Decatur into its metro area in the not so distant future. Great little city.

The amount of construction in Gallatin County is absurd. Unfortunately, the median home price is something like 980k and it prices a lot of normal folks out of the market. Something like 40% of residents don't work because of inheritance or accumulated capital.

Tampa is blowing up right now.

Having lived in Cincinnati, I can say the weather from October to mid April is the biggest turn off to the entire rust belt and Midwest.

I wish people would not look to move from where they are currently at (unless you have to) and just try fixing their town.
