I agree with Irreversible.
It's way too long and violent and just savagely cruel.

The stabbing scene in Zodiac was too much. My gf and I were watching it and she was crying and made me turn it off, I didn't argue, it was brutal.
Actually watched this movie the other night on showtime. And, sure it's a tough scene, but enough for your GF to cry and and turn it off??

That scene sucked. Almost walked out of the theater. Good thing the rest on the movie was long and boring.

Braveheart. The end when William Wallace is tortured. Such an emotional scene man.

No one has mentioned in one of the Daniel Craig Bond films when he is in the chair getting hit on the back of the nuts.

The scalping and chopping towards the end of Bone Tomahawk was pretty fricken nasty.

The newer "Hills have eyes" had a rape scene it was a mutant dude raping a younger lady in it. Really gave me the creeps

Most of mine have been mentioned but the scene in SPR when Giovanni Ribisi's character is dying and asking for mommy, Leonardo DiCaprio crying "I don't wanna die" in The Quick and the Dead, and Casey Affleck beating Jessica Alba's face to a pulp in The Killer Inside Me. The posts about The Zodiac stabbing are spot on too, no music, just quiet thumping followed by screams...was too real

This scene freaked me out as a kid.
It felt like he really died. And I was like "I don't want to do either!"

Clooney torture in Syriana. Caution, of course. Injured for real in this scene.
