That's a good one. A few others were the curb stomp in American History X, the bear scene in the Revenant, and a great majority of The Passion of the Christ.

The stabbing scene in Zodiac was too much. My gf and I were watching it and she was crying and made me turn it off, I didn't argue, it was brutal.

The home invasion scene at the beginning of Law Abiding Citizen makes me cringe every time. Also, the answering machine from swingers was mentioned before and holy shite that's gotta be the winner.

Yea, I haven't seen a lot of the movies in this thread, but the curbing scene was the first time I've ever recalled flinching from a movie. I had no idea what a curbing even was. At first I thought he was just going to shoot him in the back of the head, and then... wait... what? OH MY GOD.

The significant part of that scene is that you see a nazi soldier is also a human being. He calmly shush the guy into dying. Then he went back to work. It wasn't anything personal. He's just taking orders. Guy just going his job in a sh*t situation bring forced to kill a stranger he never met. Wars suck.
