What I am about to say is not meant to slight Jennings, because I think he will prove to be a good QB in the future, but I think we win that game with any college QB in the last 10 years except maybe Reggie Ball

I don't disagree, but Jennings is still ahead in the experience factor. He's been on the team longer, he's seen meaningful snaps. It's nice that Bergeron did well at JUCO, it really is. But it's very different from football played at the level of the power 5 conferences.

SO you are saying the depth chart in no way was influenced by any of the coaches ? if you think this you are delusional...its in the media guide...more up to date than what happened 4 months ago...A lot of shite happened between now and the spring game..

this article came out July 9th. Miles mentions nothing of Bolden playing QB, but does mention Magee and Diarse.

this article was posted today. it clearly states Bolden was not an option at QB this year

And you know this how?

because everything the coaches have stated since the beginning of spring practice until now has backed up that statement. bolden was a wr when he decided to transfer. since you're so hung up on what the lsu media says, why don't you tell me what position rob bolden is listed as on the "official" roster page of lsusports.net

Damn, eerily similar. Surprised he hasn't gotten more hype.

I kind of want.

He is on the roster if we need him, but lets hope we do not need him haha Would love for him to get some late game snaps, but I hope he isnt pressed into starting, though I think he really could handle it.

I certainly wouldn't call it devastating... but didn't you have same attitude when both rivers and rettig left?

Why do you think it's just peachy to have to such little depth and exp at qb?

I've never seen a top tier school that has had qb problems like we have the past 8-10 years.

Thank God for ZMett .

Mett threw for 10 more TDs and 5 less interceptions. Mett's TD:Interception ratio was 8:1 and Bergeron's was 2.5:1. Mett only completed 59% of his passes while Bergeron completed almost 71% Those numbers aren't even slightly similar

Honestly, outside of the JJ/JL saga that was purely a result of Perrilloux's idiocy, what are these "problems" you speak of? Jamarcus Russell was great. Flynn was just fine. Mett has been great. So to answer your question, there are plenty of top tier schools that have had QB problems 4 of the last 10 years.

@MattMoscona: 3 different sources have told me #LSU OF Jared Foster is strongly considering a return to football to be #LSU's 3rd QB @1045espn

Jared Foster baby. Redemption for Barbe's finest!

Snake, you gotta stop doing Mosconas job for him. He is now reporting this shite on 104.5 like he is breaking the Lebron announcement. Haha Well done man.

Moscona reporting it.... 2 hours after The Rant lets it out haha Hack!

ETA: Cam Cameron is gonna create the Barbe Hook and Ladder. Foster hits DeSean Smith on a curl route, who pitches it back to Trey Quinn, who then takes it 65 yards to the house.

if true, Foster is an idiot for believing he'd have any realistic shot at 3rd string. He was only ever a preferred walk-on and hasn't taken a snap in 2 years. IMO, Foster wasn't being serious if he even actually said anything like that

Dude, I'd love to see JF under center. They'd play "the catch" at the start of every game.

Maybe you should get off the kid's back for possibly just wanting to live out a dream and help out the school he loves.

He'll probably play more football than he will baseball. Even if it's just special teams.

I don't know why it matters. If someone can actually get under center, just give them a shot at 3rd string. It can't hurt.
