Beat them 2 seasons in a row and 9 times of 12 lazt meetings. How much more dominant do we need to be to be "consistent?"

Alabama annihilated LSU in the nation title game
I hate this statement. I hate it because in fact, it's accurate. But I also hate it because it is totally inaccurate. The LSU team Alabama beat in the MNC game was not the LSU that played all season long and had more than earned their #1 ranking. That Tiger team didn't show up to play; some other team showed up. But the score doesn't lie. The Tide annihilated that other LSU team in that one game. And I hate it. And unfortunately, all the marbles went to Tuscaloosa when it was over.

Can't say I disagree. Miles was Saban's bitch when it mattered the most. If Miles had two brain cells to rub together, he would have stuck with Lee for the balance of the season after the first Alabama game. JJ and Mett would have had more opportunities to plan if Miles chose to after Lee ran up big leads.

If he wins the BCS title game it does not even make print. Instead they would be writing about Alabama's overrated recruiting classes.

It's got to be miserable that you can't enjoy our success because you despise the head coach because he's different from Saban.

I hope you are absolutely miserable 24/7 as an LSU fan. I really do.

I bet when Miles beat the Genius in his backyard last November you lost your mind, didn't you? I can see you as the type of fan who is cheering when we are losing.

Had LSU won the BCS last year ESPN/the rest of the media would have immediately turned their attention to sucking off USC, which would have made you miserable for other reasons.

I really and truly love threads like this.

No. I am the type of fan who is disappointed when the coach lets the team down. I make a point to go to at least one game a year and enjoy every minute of it. If you think I am the only person that feels this way, then you need a reality check. Being critical of the coach does not mean we are not cheering for the team, providing money to the TAF, attending games, throwing parties when we can't be at the game in person, etc. So get off your high horse and take off your purple and gold colored glasses.

Be "critical" if that's your want.

Just know/remember/also state that the HC you are being critical bout has given you/LSU more success/elite level teams than ANY who came before him in a 120 yrs of football.

You are being critical of my opinion. Posting ability typically does not elicit F-Bombs from other Ranters.

He's hated Les for being different since he began posting here. He also has another handle.

i really expect better execution from CFN.

we're LSU fans, and we obviously follow LSU much closer and passionately than someone who calls himself "Mr. Pac Ten" will. I get that. Obviously we're pissed off about 1/9, and aware of the stuff previously stated in this thread about the recent past, recruiting, etc. But whatever, the guy can have his opinion.

I'm most surprised that the original post was just sort of low quality rambling, and it's just sat there for days w/ no follow-up response from the other writers involved in the roundtable.

honestly, i think there's a better back & forth dialogue to be had by cherrypicking a couple of posters from here
