Why would any of you take this guy serious. To start it off, he calls himself Mr. Pac 10.....that says more about him than anything else. He obviously did zero homework and just put out a blog hoping to stir things up. I'm sure he got plenty of emails, which, he was hoping for. Me, I'm not wasting my time on clueless bastards like this one. ZERO Credibility....a left coast blogger.

The Tigers won in 2011; on the road.
'Bama was clearly better on 1-9-12. That is all.

2011 proved Bama will get the benefit of any doubt. And when there is a four team playoff Bama will have to have 3 losses to be excluded.

Why do people keep saying this?
It's not Bama's fault all the other teams shite the bed.
Okie State shouldn't have lost to Iowa freakin State.
Bama was one of the top 2 teams in the country. They deserved to be there.

Oklahoma and Texas laugh at you. Either of those two programs win the Big 12, they would have played LSU.

No, it's not. Bama wasn't given the benefit of the doubt. They had a slightly better (or at least similar) resume. The human voters therefore had to decide who they thought was the better team, and they thought that was Bama. I would say they were right.

You can't be serious. OSU ha a far better resume and never once has , who you lost to, outweighed who you beat. Never. Not once. Also this

No one thought Bama should be there. Bama being allowed in that game is why every other conf pushed for change. Because only in CFb is
11-1 beat 2 ranked teams and 3 with winning record, no conf title
BETTER THAN
11-1 beat 5 ranked teams and 6 with winning record and won conf title

They didnt have a similar resume.....osu had best like 5 top 25 teams......all they harped on was which loss was worse.....

That was the big deal.....OSU was conference champs, better schedule on paper but "how and who they loss too" was a big factor.

Uh no. OSU's resume killed Bama's resume. There is a reason Espn wouldn't show the two teams's resumes until after the bcs show.
Pre bowl season , Bama beat 2 ranked teams. OSU BEAT 5 ranked teams. Hell Bama only beat 3 teams with a winning record.

I have no doubt neither one of those teams WOULD HAVE BEEN LEFT OUT. It's why I don't care about the BCS title anymore. It's a popularity contest. I only care about the SEC title. It's the only title , won on the field. Just about every national and BCS title is questioned. Did they get the teams right? Was another team more deserving? The SEC TITLE IS NEVER QUESTIONED. EVER

They'll be an asterik next to each BCS champion's name from '98 till the 4 team playoffs start. It will say, this team won the BCS Popularity game, except USC, we <3 them.

I could see us laying an egg and losing a squeaker to Auburn or UF. Run the rest of or schedule convincingly, only to be left out of the title game when USC and someone else go undefeated. We won't be as fortunate as Bama was last year.

What is funnier to me is watching the SECCG when CBS was also pushing the Mulligan.

The stats they showed comparing Okie Lite vs Media Darling were hilarious. Spin spin spin

Yes and no. Now when the NC game ended they had won 21-0. That's pretty impressive. So in that regard yes, they deserved to be there.

However, the 'human element' did indeed play a portion in their inclusion in the title game.IMO with all things being equal, had Alabama beaten LSU 9-6 in OT, the NC game would have been Alabama vs Oklahoma State. ESPN in particular loves them some Nick Saban and Alabama. And,like Duke in basketball to an extent, they did this on their own through their history and their resurgence under Saban. Still, very, very few teams in the country would get a do-over.

And as a fan of CFB, that's the way it should have been had LSU lost to Bama.

LSU in the Sugar Bowl.

To be honest with self, in retrospect I would've felt the same as Dec '07.
LSU's resume was too strong to get left out to another 1 loss team.
