In 1972 we got married. I was 23 and my bride was almost 19. Gasp! But 3 kids, 5 grandkids, and 43 years later we are still married, happy, and also a bit older. ...

re: Greatest crazy person in film? - JawjaTigah
The guy who played Gen. Jack D. Ripper in Dr. Strangelove definitely deserves serious consideration. His is the kind of seriously crazy who appears to be functional that we rub shoulders with every day....

re: Big Bend National Park - JawjaTigah
Big Bend National Park
Been on my bucket list for years. A friend went there and came back with some awesome photos of the scenery. Big thing I hear is it is beastly hot - some advice to stay up in the Chisos Basin area sounds like good advice to me. Good luck - I hope you get there so...

And no one who gets older is immune to health things that can go along with the aging process. Mid-section fat is a primary gateway to type 2 diabetes and ...

re: Introducing my son to Star Wars -- What order to watch? - JawjaTigah
The order they were made
Definitely. The only way to really "get" Star Wars is the same way we did. The best ones were the first 3, shown "a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..." Then the 3 newer ones can follow....

re: Finebaum and the SECN - JawjaTigah
Originally tried to keep an open mind about PF. Some here had been exposed to him via radio. I hadn't. So I hoped their rants about him were over the top exaggerations. Tuned him in on SECN and was shocked to realize the previous rants didn't do justice to the degree of Bama homerness and anti-LSU b...

re: Sony A6000 Camera Reviews - JawjaTigah
Sony used to be Minolta. My first SLR (film) camera was a Minolta - I loved it. I now have a Nikon DSLR, but honestly I am getting sick of dragging all the heavy lenses around with me when I shoot. Back to Sony - they bought out Minolta's camera division a few years ago and have been cutting edge...
