Not to flame... but didn't UCLA score something like 63pts on our DC when he was at Tennessee?

No. UCLA scored something like 63 points on the Tennessee defense while Chavis was the Tennessee DC. And the difference isn't just semantics.

Careful there, Austin. You're treading on dangerous ground!

Chance? Yes, definitely...though very slim.
However, if you lose close, it will be a moral boost for a team that's been losing a lot for about 6 years or so and could lead to a better season.
Your offense may score some points. But, the D is very very questionable.
I'll be generous on my predictions:
LSU 42 - UDub 24

There's always a chance anything can happen, so I won't say that it can't happen, but I would say the chances of UW winning are at about 3 percent. Not to sound arrogant or overly-confident, but I just don't see LSU losing. Everyone knows how the players are going to be extremely motivated and will want to prove a point on national television that last year was a fluke. And LSU has been very good early in the season lately. We'll be very fresh. And since this is the opener, the chances of LSU looking past UW are basically zero. All this aside, actually looking at the match-ups on the field, LSU seems to have the edge in pretty much every category but maybe QB which I think is pretty close. So IMHO this has the makings to be a 38-13 game.

LSU has had a history of trouble in games like this. Opening against Houston ten or so years ago had to come back down 27-3 late in the 3rd. Also Oregan State in BR, took Serna to miss 3 extra point/field goal opps to sqeak out the victory. This is a "weird" opener for LSU and they usually make it interesting, but long as we don't lose the turnover battle, the game should be out of reach in the 4th. 42-13 (But there's always a chance)

backup was a bad word. Less homers that would be willing to talk to you about the game is more like it.
Any chance Utah can upset Bammer? oh nevermind.

Locker is good so if he doesn't get KO'd you have a chance.

I think CScott pounds you for like 150 and KW gets a couple of TD's. Good luck if you can't stop the run.

Yes. Mathematically there is a 50% chance.

I don't believe that the Huskies will upset LSU, but if it's any consolation I hope that they spank everyone else on their schedule. This will only help LSU SOS!!

And they know they cannot lose to a PAC-10 team or they will never hear the end of it from the rest of the SEC and especially, the media - see Les Miles' statement about USC's schedule.

It's possible like getting hit by an asteroid is. But I wouldn't want to be ANY team in that first game against LSU this year.

We've got something to prove and it's coming out of your arse.

yes there's a chance for sure. First game out of the gate. Never know what can happen. And Washington isn't something puny school. They have a new coach, a good QB, and a new attitude. And the game is at their place.

I'll say the final will be 31-14 lsu.

UCLA scored 27 on UT last year, 7 off a blocked punt; and lost in OT

They held UCLA to 288 yards

I don't think they ever played another time
