backup was a bad word. Less homers that would be willing to talk to you about the game is more like it.

Yeah, but your thread is just a little bit too open-ended. Nobody has any idea what Washington will be like next year, so naturally you're going to get more sarcasm/funny replies than serious ones. There's just not that much to say this early in the year.

In any case, welcome to TD.com, fwiw!

Yeah "Tiger Rant" and "intelligent discussion" aren't exactly synonymous.

Ah, yeah that would be a good thing.

Agreed. I think LSU will win handily, but I could see it being very close or even going the other way. This team will be very different from last year's, especially with Locker back and having another year of development.

That's true, but the off-season can be kind of boring if you don't talk about anything, even pointless speculation can be fun

maybe luckylee could find some bullshite reason why LSU would lose to washington.

of course there is a chance that you pull an upset on us but is pretty unlikely. we got rid of the retards running our d and will have a real d now so we should be back to bcs bowls and titles. while yall have a new coach its only his first year and first game so i don't think he will knock off a power house

eta: locker can keep yall close though but i dont know much about yall and from yalls record id say he doesn't have much help around him

That pussy's bullshite reason is always and WILL always be Les. I seriously think he's posting from some psych ward in Bama.

Doubt it..if Les wins every game this year, it wouldn't matter to that flaming frick.

To the game in question: I really hate these types of games. A game where everybody's picking you to win. I understand LSU upgraded, but I want to see it for myself. I haven't seen Washington play, and I'm not going by how LSU looked in a fricking meaningless spring practice.

If Washington has any chance is if they win the turnover battle and lsu's def isn't ready to play.

I've gotta say.. not this time around. I think we'll be out for blood this year.. especially game one.

They're going to try to set the tone.

The one thing that scares me about Washington is your QB. Jake Locker is an amazing QB, and our secondary wasn't exactly the best last year. I'm sure Chavis will correct a lot of the mistakes that happened last year, but if not Jake Locker can tear our secondary apart.

To answer your question though, I just don't see Washington having a chance in hell, I know its your team and I'd have a ton of confidence in them too, but LSU is on a different level than Washington this decade.

I wish your team good luck though.

I would be shocked if this one is closer than 21 points. UW can't stop lsu's offense. The only hope the huskies have to keep it close is if LSU's defense comes in struggling with the new system and gives up some big plays. I just don't see UW scoring on or stopping lsu. Sorry.

I mean...anything's possible right? But I doubt it...we just have too many play makers...even if we play a terrible game we beat most teams. Look at the Bama game last year. We threw 4 picks and took the #1 team to overtime.
