Wasn't UTenn's offense pretty putrid that game as well? I beleive tenn's defense had like 4 ints in the first half, but offense couldn't do shite. I'm pretty sure thats the game im thinking about.

IF Jake Locker is healthy, he can give us fits for a half; but we have too much depth and speed at all positions....5% chance!

No chance of Washington upsetting LSU. But great chance for Washington to shite and fall back in it.

To be honest I know little about Washington but given last year's record, I seriously doubt they can make that big of a turnaround in the off season and beat a top 10 team even though it is a home game for them.

I was in Seattle last year during the BCS championship game (had to give my ticket away, stupid bullshite work sent me up to seattle for 4 weeks). I drove past the stadium and got a good look at it... it's odd looking. It looks tiny compared to SEC stadiums despite a capacity of 70,000+

I didn't take a picture of it when I was there (I was driving) but I found this one.

I imagine a large portion of the grounds will be swarming with LSU tailgaters. Since Washington's colors are Purple and Gold too, it's going to be interesting.

Uh, I was at the BYU vs UW game on the 45 yard line of the north upper deck and I can tell you that no matter if they kicked it there or the 5 yard line, there is no way their kicker makes that kick with the penitration the BYU D Line had on that play. They crashed that O Line and would have gotten to it regardless.

Besides, tossing the ball up 30 feet in the air does vioate the rules of the game and should be an unsportsmanlike penalty.

I will say this, the classiest fans I have ever been around were Washington fans at Husky Stadium. They are very gracious hosts.

MLOdawgs, It is a long trip for us to make and your team will probably be pumped up about the new era, coaches etc. However, we are too deep, fast, & talented for the 2009 Huskies. Washington won zero games last year so don't expect miracles this year. The Huskies will be back in a few years.

This one will be bloody.
LSU - 56
Wash - 3

Welcome to the board.

LSU Tigerhead -

That's because from the road, approximately 1/2 of the stadium is below you. Take a look at the pic you posted. There are only a few rows of seats above street level on the "lower bowl."

The only thing "odd" about the stadium is the stupid track. They are trying to do something about that and put the closed end section of the stadium much closer to the endzone. Unfortunately, cash is getting tight now with the economy and Try Losingham's affect on the program...

There is always a chance. In this case I would say the chance is pretty minimal. IMO, I would say 5%-8%.

LSU will punish Washington. Sorry, but the Tigers are looking to make a statement after last year's mediocre season.

www.dawgman.com

however, it is still realing from the fractured fan base thanks to the past 6 years and Ty's iron fist on the program.

by the way - on that board AND on this board - be wary of Ducks or Cougars in Husky clothing. They like to try to give us a bad name and follow us everywhere we go...

Thank you, Joseph Smith. Your sense of fair play is exceeded only by your unjustifiable self-righteousness

UT had 2 turnovers, Washington 4.

UT fumbled on the 6 yard line going in and then on their own 41 they threw a pic

And the end of the year, this will be considered one of LSU's best teams of the decade.
