re: Greg McElroy just said LSU best job in the country - heartbreakTiger

re: Since we all like Miles and he's a winner - heartbreakTiger
your post is actually dumber than the original post. why would it be a good idea to let the man that thought cam and BDP were good coaches hire for every sport? seriously think about what you are posting, stubborn retard les that can't keep up with the times in control of who we hire and fire....

re: Greg McElroy just said LSU best job in the country - heartbreakTiger
especially in a state where the only big game in town is LSU. Texas slightly different since you have 2 major players, Florida two major players and so on. Politics only starts to circle when you aren't winning. If we are taking school level politics then I still don't see it as a factor. ever...

re: Greg McElroy just said LSU best job in the country - heartbreakTiger
i disagree with politics being a huge factor. They come into play when you aren't winning but if you are winning everyone shuts up because the cash is flowing in. the state of Alabama and the university likely have just as much politics as we do. However, when they are winning it isn't talked abo...

re: Where does LSU rank as a coaching destination? - heartbreakTiger
its clear the best programs are located in talent rich areas. they first lock down their state and area and then slowly move out. the core of the great USC teams built on cali kids and then cherry pick the ones where needed. as great as usc has been they nabbed Joe Mcknight from us during the...

re: Where does LSU rank as a coaching destination? - heartbreakTiger
sure they will always have one or two that just want out of their home state. For the vast majority of the time LSU, Michigan, TOSU, BAMA will dominate their area. you might have a kid that just wants out so it happens but those kids are actually pretty rare. ND can't just run on in and take what...

re: Greg McElroy just said LSU best job in the country - heartbreakTiger
its pretty common. I do think we have more talent than them. I have suspected for a long time that the recruiting sites have some bias. It would be natural for them to overrate texas talent as if a player is interested in texas pump him up because it sells to the big fan base of texas. I also th...

re: Greg McElroy just said LSU best job in the country - heartbreakTiger
USC does get first pick when good. they have the ability to be an elite job. As of now their admin is a complete and utter wreck. I don't know much about their boosters and support club/whatever their version of the TAF is but it must not be that strong if Clay Helton was hired as their coach....
