I drink a lot of Rivers Marie pinot.

Had this for the first time Thursday in Yountville. I really liked it but I don't know much about wine.

Big fan of Twenty Bench.

Fantastic for the price.

Had a bottle of this last night. Cork fell apart so had to strain it. Maybe a couple years past its prime. Lost a little of its peppery bite but was incredibly smooth and had a lot of oak.

Tiger Attorney,

Sorry for the delayed response.

The drive up to the top of Pride Mountain is considerably longer and curvier than headed up Pritchard to Chappellet.

Grab some bubbles and sit in the front seat--it's worth the drive.

Goldeneye is a really great Pinot.

Twenty Bench is in my wine fridge now...looking forward to it.

Yeah loved that cave tour. In the middle of nowhere. We were there last in 2005 which is when I picked up that bottle

Our trip to Piedmont in December has me addicted to Langhe Nebbiolo...such great values for around 20 bucks. Elegant like a Pinot, but terroir-driven with a firmer body than you expect.

This was bought at Brady's for around 20 and paired with grilled pork loin, lemon pepper asparagus and grill roasted sweet potatoes with Napa seasoning.

How long to you usually lay down your Zins? I am not as patient as you are with that grape.

I usually don't age my red zins that long. About 5 years tops. This was a bottle we had forgotten about in the wine fridge. I was surprised at how much complexity it maintained. Like I said though, it did lose a little spice.

Bone Shaker red Zin. Good wine and a good value.
