I've never seen Tapatio in the stores. Where do you buy it?

Zach,

I picked up a bottle of this this weekend at Kroger's on Airline. I think they only have the large bottles though.

I like trappeys also but it doesn't seem to be on the shelves as much anymore.

We have that in the cabinet. My wife likes it because it is free of the chemicals and crap in Huy Fong Sriracha.

Anything runny like beans, gumbo, etc usually gets the Tobasco. I like thicker sauces like Louisiana for everything else.

I use enough crystal to single-handedly keep the company in business

Tabasco or Louisiana

Tabasco with red beans, sauces. Louisiana for everything else.

Huh, didn't know that. I guess I'll have to make the switch to Crystal.

On my condiment carousel right now:

Crystal
Crystal Extra Hot
Tabasco
Tabasco Chipotle
Huy Fong Sriracha

It all depends on what you're putting it on.

Tabasco for almost all Italian food and on étouffée, in gumbo, on any egg dish, and most gravies.

A Harrissa for Middle Eastern

Sriracha for most Asian

Tapatio for Mexican/Salvadoran/Honduran but usually never on Cuban/Brazilian/Colombian/Peruvian/Argentinian

Tabasco

I have tried Louisiana and Crystal and they just don't taste like anything to me

Probably weren't the freshest bottles though, or maybe i didn't shake well enough.

Turkey sandwich with hot sauce is my shite.

Thanks. I've looked at Brookshires, Albertson's and Wal Mart. They don't carry it. I called my Mexican DIL and she says she knows what it is but hasn't seen it in a grocery store in Shreveport/Bossier. I'll check it out.

Man...we're hot sauce fiends in our house. Wife like Tapatio and Sriracha... I like Yucateco and Castillo. I like Tabasco on sandwiches and breakfast.
