Found some finally at Geaux Fish on Burbank but I think they're sold out now. Pretty neat little place. They have trout, redfish, drum, etc. on display on ice for sale. Eta: Crabs looked good. Tasted terrible. Fishy and a little mealy. Very disappointing. Ended up picking them, rinsed the meat...

My wife is going to be pissed since I promised her boiled crabs for Mother's. Can't find crabs anywhere this morning....

Interesting that people are seeing the blue and purple (nitrogen light emission) and not the traditional green (oxygen). I guess the purple is drowning out the green....

Tried it for lunch. Sandwich was good and the tenders really stood out. Got the medium for both. Can easily make 2 meals out of the 4 piece tender meal. The tenders are about 3x larger than Cane's for comparison. Eta: more importantly than portion/va...

Looking to boil some for Mother's Day, curious if anyone knows anyone/anywhere selling live crabs in the Baton Rouge area. Called Tony's and they said they didn't have them. Thinking I might have to take a drive south....

Red Boat Kho sauce. Might be harder to find at a grocery store though. Also, it's a little strong, so avoid if you can't stand fish sauce....
The problem is that the "right" design firm and/or contractor did not get the job.
I don't think that's the issue here. Lt. Gov Nungesser has been adamantly against the diversion and everything CPRA for a long time. He does everything he can to protect the interest of "his people" do...
Hell, it would be cheaper to subsidize the oyster farmers if any damage does occur.
That's 100% within the scope of the project. CPRA also has fund put aside to raise homes and construct any additional flood control so that the diversion will not cause homes to flood or affect flood ...
How did you even land on that number?
From OPs context, I think $500k is the going rate for a move in ready (not needing renovations) decently sized house with a yard in his area/town....
I think we are doing well and generally good savers, but even still it seems like a massive mountain to climb to afford a home.
